According to the Meteorological Department, the areas which received rain include Safdarjung, Civil Lines, Patel Nagar, Buddha Jayanti Park, Rajiv Chowk, ITO, Jafarpur, Najafgarh, Dwarka, India Gate, Akshardham, Palam, Lodi Road, IGI Airport, RK Puram. , Vasant Kunj, Hauz Khas, Malviyanagar, Punjabi Bagh, Delhi University and Kanjhawala. Whereas, NCR includes Loni Dehat, Hindon AF Station, Indirapuram, Noida, Dadri, Greater Noida, Gurugram, Faridabad, Manesar and Ballabhgarh.

According to the Meteorological Department (IMD), Saturday i.e. today the minimum temperature is likely to be around 27 degree Celsius while the maximum temperature can go up to 35 degree Celsius. While the rain made the weather pleasant this morning, Friday was the hottest day of the month of August. During this, the maximum temperature was recorded at 37.4 degree Celsius. The humid heat had troubled the people a lot.

The Meteorological Department had predicted rain with thunder in the capital Delhi today. However, rain is expected to reduce towards the end of the week. Meanwhile, a cloudy sky with wind speed of 12-20 kmph is also expected in West Delhi.
