According to Safar India data, the air quality index (AQI) in Delhi was recorded at 322, which falls in the ‘very poor’ category. Apart from this, if we talk about NCR, the air quality index in Ghaziabad has been recorded at 290, which is in the poor category. If we talk about Noida, the air quality there too remains in poor category. According to weather-monitoring agencies, Delhi’s air quality was recorded in the ‘very poor’ category for the second consecutive day on Sunday. There is no possibility of relief from this till the end of the month.

Some relief from pollution in Mumbai

Apart from this, if we talk about the financial capital Mumbai, people in Mumbai have some relief from pollution as compared to Delhi. The air quality index in Mumbai today was recorded at 189. Which is in the medium category. According to SAFAR data, the air quality in Bandra Kurla Complex was recorded at 144. The morning air quality in Borivali East, Mumbai was recorded at 139, while the air AQI in Andheri East was recorded at 78 which is in the ‘satisfactory’ category.

Let us tell you that AQI from 0 to 100 is considered good, while 100 to 200 is considered moderate, 200 to 300 is considered bad, 300 to 400 is considered very bad and 400 to 500 or above is considered severe.
