Delhi Loot Case: Delhi, the capital of the country, is becoming the crime capital day by day. The incidents of looting and murder in broad daylight do not seem to be reducing here. A businessman was robbed of Rs 4 lakh in Delhi’s Kashmiri Gate area on Tuesday late evening. The incident comes just three days after a delivery agent and his associate were robbed at gunpoint of Rs 2 lakh inside the Pragati Maidan tunnel in the national capital on June 24.
Delhi Police said that information was received that about Rs 4 lakh was looted from a businessman in Kashmere Gate area of Delhi last evening. Now the matter is being investigated. After this incident, there is an atmosphere of sensation in the surrounding area. Police say that immediate action has been taken in this matter. Soon the accused will be arrested.
Looting took place in the tunnel of Pragati Maidan
Let us tell you that a few days ago an incident of looting came to light in the Pragati Maidan tunnel. The video of this incident went viral. In the latest update, the Delhi Police on Tuesday said that seven people have been arrested in connection with the gun-point robbery of a delivery agent and his associate inside the Pragati Maidan tunnel. The accused robbed him of around Rs 2 lakh on Saturday when he was going to Gurugram in a taxi to deliver the money. Those arrested include Usman, his cousin Irfan, Anuj Mishra, Kuldeep, Sumit, Pradeep and Bala. Usman has been identified as the main conspirator and he passed on the information to others, police said.
