Delhi’s Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia has been called by the CBI to the headquarters today for questioning in connection with the liquor scam in Delhi. Manish Sisodia also reached Rajghat before going to the headquarters. Sisodia has expressed apprehension that CBI may arrest him today. He accused the BJP that these people are using the CBI to take revenge.
The CBI had called Manish Sisodia to its headquarters last Sunday. But then he had said that at present I am busy preparing the budget for Delhi and the final draft of the budget is being prepared. Can’t attend because of this. He had urged the CBI to give him a week’s time. In this regard, he was asked by the CBI to appear before him on 26 February.

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said before CBI’s questioning of Manish Sisodia that God is with you Manish. The prayers of lakhs of children and their families are with you. When you go to jail for the country and society, then going to jail is not a curse, it is a glory. I pray to God that you return from jail soon. You are the education minister of Delhi, the children of Delhi love you.
Reacting to this, AAP leader and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh said that this is Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s police. They may or may not be able to stop the crimes, but they are using all their might to arrest Manish Sisodia. Aam Aadmi Party leaders are being put under house arrest.
On this issue, Delhi’s Environment Minister said that Modi’s police is deployed with promptness to arrest Delhi’s popular Education Minister Manish Sisodia. Aam Aadmi Party leaders are being put under house arrest at various places in Delhi.
On this matter, Manish Sisodia tweeted that he is going to the CBI headquarters again today, will cooperate fully in the entire investigation. The love of lakhs of children and the blessings of crores of countrymen are with you. It doesn’t matter if you have to spend a few months in jail.
