Delhi Jal Board Scam: Union Minister Meenakshi has made a big allegation against the Aam Aadmi Party government in Delhi. In a press conference on Saturday, Lekhi said that the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has given all the corrupt people the freedom to loot wherever they want. As a result, the people of Delhi are continuously getting cheated. He said that this time a scam has also come to light in Delhi Jal Board. FDR has also disappeared. Questioning the Kejriwal government, he said where did all the money go.
Meenakshi Lekhi claimed scam in water board
Union Minister Meenakshi Lekhi claimed that there is a difference of Rs 166 crore in the financial information of the bank and Delhi Jal Board. They claimed to have deposited money into bank accounts but those bank information did not match. A scam of Rs 3,753 has taken place under various heads in Delhi Jal Board. All details of the work done by him from 2017-18 to 2022-23 are missing. He said sarcastically that this is woe to Tauba, woe to Allah. Kejriwal did a new scam.
Meenakshi Lekhi said- tanker mafia should increase in Delhi
Meenakshi Lekhi said the number of consumers (under the board) increased, meters increased and consumption increased. But the earnings decreased. FDR also disappeared. He said, so where has all this money gone? He said that when Sheila Dikshit was in power, they came to power by shouting tanker mafia. That tanker mafia is working fully even today. Also, he said that wherever they have not laid water pipelines, water tankers charge Rs 10,000 from people to supply water. Lekhi said that there are many areas where the strength of the tanker mafia has not reduced but has increased.
