Delhi AIIMS Fire: Big information is coming out from AIIMS Hospital in Delhi. Here a fire broke out in the endoscopy room near the emergency ward. After this, there was a stir among the patients. However, all the patients were evacuated soon. The fire department was informed about the incident, after which about 8 vehicles have reached the spot and the fire has been brought under control.

Fire brigade gave information on the incident

Giving information on the incident, the officials of the fire brigade team said that the fire has been brought under control after an hour. Also, said that the incident took place on the second floor of the main building. Delhi Fire Brigade Director Atul Garg said that a call about the fire was received from the emergency ward of AIIMS at 11.54 am, adding that a total of 8 fire engines were pressed into service to douse the fire. The fire is now under control and the cause of the fire is being ascertained, he added.

Videos from the hospital premises showed evacuated patients being taken to safer places. The Public Medical Research University and Hospital is located on Sri Aurobindo Marg in Ansari Nagar East, Delhi and is one of the top medical institutes of India.

Fire broke out in AIIMS even before this

In the year 2021, a fire broke out in a room adjacent to the operation theater of the emergency ward in AIIMS. However, there was no information about any injury in this. The fire broke out at 5.04 am in the store room adjacent to the OT. After this, seven vehicles of the fire department had reached the spot. The fire department had brought the fire under control within half an hour after hard work.
