Giving information about the case, the police said that on Tuesday night around 11.30 pm, Bijendra was driving his taxi in Mahipalpur area when a group of robbers tried to snatch his cab, when he protested, then in an attempt to escape, they killed him in the taxi. They hit him and dragged him for more than 200 metres, resulting in his death. Police said he is a resident of Faridabad.

CCTV video of this incident has also surfaced. In this, a speeding taxi is seen dragging Bijendra near Mahipalpur on the Delhi-Gurugram highway. Delhi Police has registered a case on charges of murder and destruction of evidence. Six teams have been formed to nab the absconding accused. The biggest thing in this case is that at the time this incident was happening with Bijendra, there were many other vehicles on the road, but no one tried to help Bijendra.
