Delhi: A person was stabbed to death inside a house in New Osmanpur area. The name of the deceased has been stated as Ramji Lal Kumawat. He was working as a nursing staff at Jag Pravesh Chandra Hospital. The body has been sent for post-mortem and the police is interrogating the wife of the deceased.
According to the police, at around quarter to seven on Tuesday morning, information about the murder of Ramji Lal Kumawat was received from Quarter No. 10, Jag Pravesh Chandra Hospital. His wife Sudha Kumawat told the police that they were married 12 years ago. He has two sons. One is 11 and the other is eight years old. He is originally from Sikar, Rajasthan. Sudha has been working as a guest teacher in Government School, Street No. 7, Gautampuri Seelampur since 2016.
He reached home from Jaipur after attending a wedding ceremony at around 12.30 pm on Monday night. Their children slept in the bedroom. The husband and wife talked to each other for about an hour before sleeping in the other room. When Sudha woke up around six o’clock on Tuesday morning, she saw that Ramji Lal was lying soaked in blood outside the toilet. There was a knife lying nearby.

Ramji Lal was taken to the hospital, where the doctor declared him dead. Marks of knife attack were found on his neck. After investigation conducted on the spot, the police have registered a case of murder. The police investigation is progressing keeping all the points in mind. The wife of the deceased is also being interrogated.
