Delhi: Giving a Diwali gift to Delhi government employees, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has announced on Monday a bonus of Rs 7,000 each to 80 thousand government employees. At the same time, the CM also said that the Delhi government will give this bonus to all Group B non-gazetted and Group C employees on Diwali. This will double the happiness in their homes during festivals. Our employees have played an important role in the excellent work done in all sectors including education, health, infrastructure, public services. As a government, we have always strived to improve the lives of our employees and this effort will continue in the future also.

While wishing Diwali to all the government employees, CM Arvind Kejriwal said that all the employees working in Delhi government are our family and today I have brought a good news for them. Our Delhi Government employees have played the most important role in the wonderful work that the Delhi Government has done in the last 8 years in the fields of education, health, infrastructure, public services and other areas.

He said that due to the hard work and dedication of these employees, we have been successful in making Delhi a dream city of the people of Delhi. CM said that this is the month of festivals. This festive season, we are giving a bonus of Rs 7,000 each to all our Group B Non-Gazetted and Group C employees. We have taken this decision on behalf of Delhi Government.

CM said that at present there are about 80 thousand Group B non-gazetted and Group C employees in Delhi government. It will cost Rs 56 crore to give bonus to all these employees. This will double the happiness in the homes of our employees during festivals. As a government, we have always strived to improve the lives of our employees and these efforts will continue.
