CM Kejriwal Inaugurates Sarai Kale Khan Flyover: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal inaugurated the Sarai Kale Khan flyover today on Sunday. During this time, PWD Minister Atish was also present with him. With the commissioning of this flyover, common people will get relief from the jam. While talking to the media, CM Kejriwal said that our government is emphasizing on rapid development works to make Delhi jam free. Let us tell you that after the construction of the new flyover, the emission of 5 tonnes of CO2 will be reduced every day. Construction of this flyover will also result in annual savings of Rs 19 crore.

Savings of Rs 557 crore- Kejriwal

Delhi CM said that till now Aam Aadmi Party has saved a total of Rs 557 crore in flyover construction alone. He said that since independence, 102 flyovers or underpasses have been built in Delhi, but the AAP government has built 30 flyovers in just 8 years. Along with this, 25 more new flyovers are going to be built. Kejriwal further said that we save money in every work, whereas in other governments, a government project worth Rs 100 crore is completed in Rs 500-1000 crore.

Let us tell you that with the commissioning of this flyover, it will become easier to reach the ashram from ITO and Yamunapar side. The foundation stone was laid on September 6, 2022 after PWD selected the company to build a single lane flyover at Sarai Kale Khan. An estimated budget of Rs 65.55 crore was kept on this 643 meter long flyover. This three-lane single flyover was targeted to be completed in July 2023, which has been completed on time. After the construction of this flyover, passengers can easily move from ISBT Kashmiri Gate to Ashram Flyover and then to South Delhi and Noida.
