Bikers ran away after snatching 23.5 lakh rupees in broad daylight

New Delhi. In the Punjabi Bagh area of ​​West Delhi, on Wednesday, miscreants openly snatched about 23.5 lakh rupees. The police registered a case under sections of snatching. Now the police is busy collecting information about the bike-riding miscreants by checking the footage of the CCTV cameras installed around the spot.

According to police sources, the incident took place on Wednesday at around 3.30 pm. The complainant, Ram Bhagat, a resident of Jind, Haryana, along with his cousin Umaid Singh had gone to KC Trader, Lawrence Road to collect the payment. From here he got Rs 23,47,250. Keeping the money in the bag, when both of them reached near Ashok Park Main Metro Station Rampura Red Light, then two miscreants came riding on the bike and snatched their bag full of money. The miscreants fled on the bike towards Punjabi Bagh.

On the information received about this incident, the police talked to the victims. On the basis of his statement, a case of snatching was registered at Punjabi Bagh police station. Now the police is checking the CCTV cameras installed on the route around the spot. The police suspect that some informer may have a hand in this incident. It is possible that someone may have informed from where the payment was received. Police is investigating by taking many people under the ambit of investigation.
