Manendragarh. In Manendragarh-Chirmiri-Bharatpur district of Chhattisgarh, along with a 5-year-old girl, her own father has been accused of raping his own daughter. Police is interrogating the accused father in custody. Medical examination of the girl child has been done. His statement will be recorded before the magistrate. The case is of City Kotwali Manendragarh area.
According to the information received, the accused father works in a shop, while his wife works in Anganwadi. There has been a feud between the two for many years, due to which the two live separately. The couple has 2 daughters, out of which the 5-year-old elder daughter has been living with her father for the last one year on the orders of the SDM court. And the younger daughter lives with her mother.
Called mother and told her the incident.
The mother told that, on Thursday, the daughter called and informed her about the wrongdoings done by the father with her. She was crying a lot on the phone. After this, the mother hurriedly reached home and took the child to the police station. The girl’s mother along with Mitanin Sangh has gone to the police station and filed a complaint against her husband for raping her daughter.
Rape will be confirmed after the medical report comes.
The investigating officer said that the girl’s mother had lodged a complaint of rape by the father with the daughter. Police arrested the accused father on Friday. He told that the matter of the accused being drunk has also come to the fore. The girl was sent for medical test. Now the statement will be recorded before the magistrate as well. The accused is also being questioned. The inspection of the matter is going on. Rape will be confirmed only after the medical report comes.

The court allowed the 5-year-old girl to live with her father. Meanwhile, on Thursday, the incident of the accused father raping his 5-year-old daughter in a drunken state has come to light. The girl informed her mother about the incident through mobile phone. As soon as the girl’s mother came to know about this, she along with Mitanin Sangh reached the police station and lodged a complaint.
