Akshay Sahu-Rajnandgaon. The government has fulfilled the promise of giving job to weightlifter daughter Dnyaneshwari Yadav of Rajnandgaon in Chhattisgarh. On the instructions of CM Bhupesh Baghel, an appointment order has been issued to make weightlifter Dnyaneshwari Yadav as ASI in Chhattisgarh Police.

It is worth mentioning that, recently, Dnyaneshwari Yadav has won silver medal in women’s 49 weight category in the Asian Youth and Junior Weightlifting Championship held in Delhi. Not only this, but in Commonwealth Weightlifting Championships, Dnyaneshwari Yadav has won gold medal in junior as well as in senior category. Along with this, Dnyaneshwari has also achieved the feat of being the first female weightlifter from Chhattisgarh to win a medal in the Commonwealth Championship.

Won Silver Medal in World Championship

Dnyaneswari lifted 156 kg in the snatch, clean and jerk event of the 49 kg category of the Junior World Weightlifting Championship held in Heraklion city of Greece. She won three silver medals and became the first female weightlifter from Chhattisgarh to achieve this record.
