War of words between police and Naxalites: Bastar IG told the press note of Naxalites as their fury

Ganesh Mishra – Bijapur. A letter war has started between the police and the Naxalites regarding the encounter taking place in Bastar and the Naxalites being killed in it. Regarding the Danteshpur encounter, Maoist leaders Sairam and Ganga issued a press note calling the encounter fake. At the same time, Bastar IGP P Sundarraj has also issued a press note calling it the fury of Naxalites. The IG says that more than 34 criminal cases have been registered against the slain Naxalites, but seeing their base area shrinking, the Naxalites are making baseless allegations. Protection of life and property is the first duty of the police and security forces and to fulfill this, we will serve them with all our might by becoming the shield of the people in the fight against the Maoists.

In response to the press note of the Naxalites, the IG has issued a press note saying that the secretary of the Darbha division of the banned and illegal CPI Maoist organization issued a press release on Monday. In it, he termed the police-naxalite encounter in Danteshpur under Bhejji police station of district Sukma as fake. While the truth is, the bodies of Maoists recovered after the encounter on Monday were identified as Gollapalli LOS Commander Madkam Erra and LOS member Podium Bhime.

Both the Naxalites killed were active

Both these Maoists actively working in the Maoist organization were involved in more than 34 violent and criminal incidents like killing of innocent villagers, attack on security forces, damage to government property, arson, IED blasts. The IG said that the base area of the Maoists has been shrinking for the last few days, due to which the agitated Naxalites are making false allegations against the security forces. Due to this, they are trying unsuccessfully to handle the falling morale of their organization.

Maoists are trying to mislead the public

It may be noted that on Sunday also an encounter took place under Cherla police station area of Telangana state. Apart from this, the Maoists are also questioning the encounters in the border states of Maharashtra, Odisha and other areas. Due to this, they are only misleading the public and in the guise of this, killing villagers in an unethical manner, torturing, damaging government and private properties and many other types of violent incidents.
