In fact, when the district administration organized colorful programs on the main road of the headquarters under the voting awareness mega carnival which included folk dances, human chains, sports competitions, fancy dresses, mehndi, rangoli, exercise demonstrations, folk singing, skating, street plays, an unforgettable and Attractive cultural presentations were given by students, folk dance groups and government employees.
In the same sequence, on the main road from District Office Aanvrabhata to State Bank Chowk, ‘Our vote is precious, we will never take it for granted, let’s raise the flame together, let everyone vote together, leave all the work and vote first, people. This slogan was written and decorated with rangoli like voting rights are ours, vote pandum, cent percent voting is the pride of democracy. The mesmerizing display of exercise and Zumba dance continued to the tune of music.
Voting message through various types of games
On the other hand, students were also trying their best in tug of war, chair race, bhaura game and sack race. Apart from this, women were also participating enthusiastically in Mehndi and Rangoli decorations. Keeping in mind the main theme of voting awareness, women gave the message of voting by applying mehendi to vote. ‘Selfie zones’ were also established in all the intersections where people were showing their participation and determination towards voting by taking selfies. Apart from this, students demonstrated the voting process in the cultural programme. Similarly, the fancy dress presentations of students dressed in colorful costumes from different states also won the applause of the visitors.
Officers and employees danced to folk tunes based on voting
The main attraction of the carnival was the performances by students and folk dancers on drums and local musical instruments. Where officers and employees were also seen dancing in dances based on voting songs. Among the folk dance groups, the groups from Shyamgiri, Mokhpal, Chandenar and villages won the hearts of the people with their enthusiastic dances.
Collector administered oath of 100% voting, general public tied voting rakhi to the collector
Collector Vineet Nandanwar, present in this colorful carnival, administered the oath of 100% voting to the people present and said that we have to participate with the same enthusiasm and excitement by voting on 7th November. Not only will we vote but we will also inspire our family members and neighbors to do so. The first step of a strong democracy is voting and only by voting we can bring positive changes. Let us become responsible citizens by voting. The people present on the spot also showed their participation by tying voting rakhis to the collector and other officials.
