Devesh Sahu / Balodabazar- In Chhattisgarh’s Balodabazar, Collector Chandan Kumar today suspended the IDs of a total of 18 striking service cooperative societies operating government fair price shops. Not only this, the work of attachment of nearby shops is also being done. This action has been taken as per the provisions of the Chhattisgarh Public Distribution System Control Order 2016.
Why was the action taken?
Distribution of food grains is one of the important schemes of the government. Therefore, action has been taken for not starting distribution to ration card holders under the Public Distribution System. Government fair price shop operators start distribution of food grains to ration card holders in the first week of every month. But this time it was not done, so in the review meeting, the Collector ordered the concerned officers to take action against the striking employees.
