Bilaspur. A case of rape has come to light from Bilaspur district of Chhattisgarh. Where he was raping the girl for 2 years by calling himself a miraculous Baiga. It is being told that Baiga was raping the girl’s sister continuously for two years on the pretext of curing her. He was threatening to kill the girl if she told anyone. Fed up with this, the girl lodged a complaint at the police station. After this the police arrested the accused Baiga. The matter is of Sipat police station area.
According to the information received, the name of the accused Baiga is 50 years old Nandkumar Rohidas. He is a resident of Podi of Sipat police station. He does farming. He calls himself a miracle baga and claims to cure sick people with exorcisms. It is being told that in 2021, the health of the girl’s elder sister had deteriorated. After which the family got information about Baiga Nandkumar Singh from someone. The family called him, after this Baiga kept coming and going to their house.
He kept raping the girl for two years after threatening her.
It is being told that, during the exorcism in the year 2021, Nandkumar’s intentions got spoiled after seeing his younger daughter. Then, taking the opportunity, he threatened and raped the 25 year old girl continuously for two years. He was threatening to kill the entire family if the girl told anyone. Fed up with this, the girl informed her family. On getting information about this, the family reached Sipat police station with the girl. After recording the statement of the girl, the police arrested the accused Baiga.
