Amit Gupta-Raigarh. In Raigarh city of Chhattisgarh, two miscreants looted jewelery worth lakhs from a woman in broad daylight. The matter has been reported to be of Ashrafi Devi Hospital premises of Raigarh, where two miscreants have robbed a woman. The woman had come here for treatment. Meanwhile, the miscreants committed the robbery by luring the woman with something hanging over her head. The robbery incident has been captured in CCTV. In the CCTV footage, two accomplices of the miscreants are also seen standing with the motorcycles in start condition. The miscreants took the jewelery from the woman and sent her ahead and fled away on motorcycles. At present, the Kotwali police has started searching for the youth who ran away with jewelery worth about Rs 2 lakh. Watch the video…
The victim told the media that the accused had approached her on the pretext of asking the name of the doctor. Then when I said that I was going to the market, saying that I did not have the information, the accused started saying that something is looming over your head. Hearing this, I became silent and started getting scared and the accused started removing my jewelery one by one. The woman told that the accused also ran away with Rs 180 kept in the purse. It is being told that the woman is a resident of Darogapara Para. The accused fled away after removing the ring, bracelet, earring and mangalsutra from the woman. The faces of both the youth are clearly visible in the CCTV.
