Anishpuri Goswami/Mohala- Anti-Naxal unit has achieved another major success in Gadchiroli district of Maharashtra. Narayanpur resident Deputy Commander, who carried out Naxal crimes in Bastar and Maharashtra, has been arrested by the Gadchiroli Police of Maharashtra.
According to information received from Maharashtra Police, Gadchiroli, bordering the district, is known as a Maoist affected district. Maoists work here to damage government property. They also attack police forces. From looting police weapons to obstructing roads and other government works, they have also been carrying out incidents like massive arson. Gadchiroli Police Force is continuously defeating the Maoist organization. In this sequence, during the Naxal operation, Deputy Commander Chainuram alias Sukku Watte, a resident of Narayanpur district, has been caught by the police.
