Murder case: Husband was beaten to death, the body was lying there and he started raping his wife.

Ambikapur. An incident which has put humanity to shame has come to light in Ambikapur district of Chhattisgarh. Where an accused first brutally killed a young man by beating him with a stick under Manipur police station area, then raped his wife in front of the husband’s dead body. The local people informed the police about the incident. As soon as the information was received, the police arrested the accused under siege.

According to the information received, the name of the deceased is Sukhlal and his age is 42 years. Sukhlal lived with his wife in a hut in a house under construction near Darripara Agrasen Bhawan. On Monday night, Sukhlal was sleeping after having dinner with his wife. Then at 12 midnight, Sukhlal’s acquaintance Karthik reached the Korva hut. Meanwhile, the accused Karthik attacked Sukhlal with a stick. Sukhlal died on the spot due to the continuous attack. On reaching Karthik’s house late at night, the deceased also suspected his wife. After which there was a dispute between the three.

Rape with wife after killing husband

After killing Sukhlal, the accused also raped his wife while the husband’s body was lying next to him. After committing the murder and rape, the accused Karthik fled from the spot.

Arrested after wife’s complaint

The wife of the deceased reached the Manipur police station and informed the police. After which the police reached the spot and started searching for the accused. Based on the woman’s statement, the police arrested the accused from Pampapur village under Darima police station area. Where after strict interrogation, the accused has confessed his crime.
