After the murder, his body was thrown near the Akhlordih pond. The blood-soaked dead body of 43-year-old Om Prakash Sahu, resident of Dhaur Jamul, Sattakhaiwal, has been found. At the same time, the police is refraining from telling anything in this matter. According to the information received from the sources of the police department, the case is of murder by giving supari. That’s why the police is keeping the matter under wraps for three days. According to the information received, Om Prakash had lost Rs 30 lakh in online betting. He was not returning that amount to the operator of the satta app. Due to this, a habitual crook named Saddam, a resident of Farid Nagar Supela, has been given a betel nut of Rs 10 lakh from abroad. It is alleged that Saddam first kidnapped Om Prakash to extort Rs 30 lakh. After this he was beaten so much that he died. Then his dead body was thrown near Akhlordih pond of Bhilai Teen police station area.

While probing the kidnapping case, the police reached the accused. During strict interrogation, one of the accused has confessed to the murder. At the behest of the accused, on Friday night, the police took the body out of the pond and sent it for postmortem. There the dead body was badly decomposed.

There he met murder accused Rajneesh Pandey and robbery accused Ashish Tiwari, who went to jail from Nandini police station. After meeting the three accused in jail, they planned to do the work of recovering the amount of the online betting app. The accused were getting instructions directly from Dubai as to where and from whom they have to recover. Even in the case of Om Prakash, these people were told to give Rs 10 lakh in lieu of recovery of Rs 30 lakh.
Accused have mobile in Durg Central Jail
It is being told that almost every major criminal in Durg Central Jail has a mobile. Many types of illegal works are being conducted on their behalf while sitting inside the jail. It was also revealed in the PC of Dr. Abhishek Pallav, former SP of Durg, that the accused used to smuggle drugs like smack and liquor from mobile phones while sitting inside the jail. Police refraining from saying anything in the case
On the other hand, the police has been trying to suppress this whole matter for two days, but as soon as Om Prakash’s body was found, the whole matter came to the fore. The police had picked up all the people of the Yadav family’s house in Sector 9 for questioning. After this he inquired and left late at night. The matter is so serious that even Durg SP Shalabh Sinha is not telling anything now. He accepted the incident of kidnapping and murder, but refused to give information about the case.
