Mother and son who went to bathe in Daldaliya pond of Katarikona in Balrampur district of Chhattisgarh have died due to drowning, the deceased Anisha Pahadi Korva had gone to bathe in the pond with her 2.5 year old son. At the same time both mother and son died due to drowning in deep water. According to the information received, 23-year-old Anisha Pahadi Korva, a resident of Katarikona, had gone to bathe in the Daldaliya pond of the forest with her two-and-a-half-year-old son. At the same time both of them died due to drowning. It is suspected that the child might have drowned first in the water and the mother also drowned while trying to save him. Both fell victim to death due to going into deep water. It is being told that the place where the dead body has been taken out from the pond has about 10 feet deep water.
