Language Collection Tour: Trying to make Gondi a language, many experts gathered in Vananchal

In this, 6 states Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Andhra Pradesh, Gondi language experts from Maharashtra, West Bengal and Odisha have started working with the Vanvasi Gond community to prepare 10,000 synonyms and standard words from 40 villages under the direction of the State Project Office for Holistic Education.

It may be mentioned that earlier 4 workshops on this subject have also been organized in Bastar. The Gondi Bhasha Sangraha Yatra was started on 16th April after offering prayers at Panabaras of Mohalla Development Block. Shubhranshu Chowdhary, who was present there, told that, until the words of Gondi language are not standardized, how will newspapers and literature be published in Gondi language. Gondi Dharmacharya and retired teacher, Damkasa resident Sher Singh Aanchala said that, we are constantly trying to make Gondi a language. For this, 10 thousand synonyms and standard words are being searched. The first Chhattisgarh government has supported it.
