Balod. Two laborers fell down from the third floor of a house under construction in Thana area of Balod district of Chhattisgarh, out of which one laborer died, the other was seriously injured. The injured laborer was admitted to the district hospital, where preparations are being made to refer him to another hospital if his condition worsens.

According to the information received, the name of the deceased laborer is Raju Patel. The name of the injured laborer is Mahendra Yadav. Lift work is going on in an under-construction house at Ramdev Chowk in Balod city. Two laborers engaged in this work fell down from the third floor, out of which one laborer died, while the other laborer was seriously injured. The injured laborer was admitted to the district hospital. Where preparations are being made to refer him to the High Center if his condition worsens. It is also being told that in the house under construction, the landlord was getting the laborers to work without any safety equipment.
