Naushad Ahmed / Surajpur- Elephant Day was celebrated with great fanfare at the Elephant Rescue Center in Ramkola on the occasion of International Elephant Day in Surajpur, Chhattisgarh. The purpose of celebrating Elephant Day today is to protect elephants and prevent attacks against them. That’s why, along with worship, various types of dishes were arranged for elephants in the rescue center.
