On this whole matter, Mungeli Collector Rahul Dev has recently given clear instructions to the health staff that no one should be spared on such matters. The Collector had given instructions to take punitive and legal action against such people. On the other hand, during the general investigation, the health, revenue and police departments raided the Maa Karma hospital located in Ramgarh near the district hospital. This hospital was running without a license. There, two patients were being treated without a doctor. The team sealed the hospital and admitted the patients to the district hospital. There has been a stir in the area since this action.
Patients coming under the guise of quacks, cheating in the name of treatment
It is being told that the patients who are being treated at Maa Karma Hospital were taken there by a fake doctor. The relatives told that they were promised that there would be better treatment in this hospital for less money. But it is not clear when and who treated those patients here. On top of that thousands of rupees were recovered from the relatives of the patient in the name of treatment and now the patients have been left to God. Not only the doctors, but the hospital management is also missing here.
Big negligence of health department
Maa Karma Hospital is located close to the medical department office and the district hospital. The special thing is that this hospital has been operating for many months without a license. Major officials of the department come and go from here everyday, yet this hospital is being ignored. This matter is very serious because here the lives of the patients are being played with daily.

On the other hand, there are many such hospitals operating indiscriminately in the road leading to the district hospital, where even if the investigation is done, neither a team of specialist doctors will be found, nor sufficient resources, nor a campus. That is, the Nursing Home Act is being openly flouted. Fake doctors refer innocent patients to these private hospitals by showing fear of their health. From where these patients are referred to hospitals in Bilaspur having commission policies related to the hospital. From there huge amount is recovered from them, that is, it can be said that this hospital is the collection center of the patients.

Mungeli district hospital is being equipped with facilities. All facilities are being operated in the district hospital with the help of efficient staff along with a team of specialist doctors. Recently the facility of caesarean section was started in the 100 bedded hospital. At the same time, many modern machines have been installed, due to which the patients are getting adequate treatment. The kind of facilities available in the district hospital are not available in any private hospital in the district. Mungeli Collector Rahul Dev has appealed to the general public that all the services are running in the well-equipped district hospital. Patients are referred here only when there is a serious problem. That’s why the general public should take advantage of these facilities operated in the district hospital.
