Formation of new government in CG: Dr. Raman said – New government will take oath by December 11, will send invitation to all the big leaders including PM Modi-Shah

Swapnil Gaurkhede-Raipur. The efforts to form a new government in Chhattisgarh now seem to be gaining momentum. BJP, the winning party, has appointed observers to choose the CM. While discussing with the press on Friday afternoon, former CM Dr. Raman Singh said that observers can come to Chhattisgarh tomorrow or the day after tomorrow. MLAs will be informed about the meeting soon. He said that all the national leaders including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah and National President JP Nadda will be invited to Chhattisgarh for the swearing-in programme. Dr. Raman said that the new government will be sworn in by December 11. Dr. Raman Singh said that, three observers have been appointed for the meeting of the legislative party. These three observers will take suggestions from the MLAs and, with the consent of the Centre, will choose the leader of the legislative party. Regarding the CM face, Dr. Raman said – No one’s name has been finalized yet, it is difficult to say until the consultation is done. Right now all the names are in discussion.

Target to win all 11 Lok Sabha seats

On the question of being elected as CM in view of the Lok Sabha elections, Dr. Raman said that Chhattisgarh will get better results than last time. The government is being formed with the big goal of winning 11 out of 11 seats in the Lok Sabha. Hitting back at Congress over Chhattisgarh Mahtari’s picture not being in BJP’s poster, he said that respect for Chhattisgarh and Mahtari goes beyond the limits of political party, he has a place in the minds of the people of Chhattisgarh.

Congress’s old habit of hiding behind EVM after defeat

On CM Bhupesh Baghel’s statement regarding EVM, former Chief Minister Dr. Raman Singh said that, where Congress wins, there is no irregularities in the elections… where Congress gets defeated, they have doubts and apprehensions. This is his old habit. BJP has no objection, BJP is impartial. We should move forward with new technology. No one has any problem with EVMs. They look for excuses for defeat, BJP never finds reason in victory or defeat.
