According to the information, the presence of 20-25 Maoists was reported along with RKB Division Secretary, Mendki LOS Commander in Thana Chhotebethia area. After which the team of 132 battalion of DRG and BSF from Thana Chhotebethia left for search in village Amatola, Binagunda and Kalpar for anti-Naxal campaign. The searching team was returning on 12th June i.e. today at 7 am. Then suddenly there was an encounter between the police and the Maoists near Binagunda. 303 bore rifle along with the dead body of a woman Maoist has been recovered in the encounter. The search team is still present at the encounter site and high officials have also reached the spot.
