Ashish Kumar Gupta – Batauli, Sedam. In Surguja district of Chhattisgarh, the police is continuously taking action against illegal business. Acting on the complaint that the drug business is flourishing in Batauli area, the police have arrested an accused. 576 intoxicant capsules of 72 leaves in four boxes have been recovered from the arrested accused, the price of which is said to be Rs 5 thousand 2 hundred 92. The case is of Batauli police station area.
According to the information received, the name of the accused is 36-year-old Ranjit Tirkey. He is a resident of Gram Panchayat Virimkela. It is being told that Ranjit Tirkey was selling drug capsules in Sitapur Pathalgaon area and selling them in rural areas. Due to which the youth were getting drowned in drug addiction. Complaints were also being made to the police continuously. Police took action on this and arrested an accused. 576 intoxicant capsules of 72 leaves in four boxes have been recovered from the arrested accused, the cost of which is said to be Rs 5 thousand 2 hundred 92. No valid document was available with the accused regarding the medicine. At present, the police have arrested the accused and sent him to jail.
