On August 27, while going home from the hospital, the relatives expressed their gratitude to Dr. Mahobe.

Dr. Kumud Mahobe Memorial Hospital in Baldev Bagh of Rajnandgaon district headquarters has once again given life to a 900 gram baby born in just seven months by miraculous treatment. Director of the hospital and pediatrician Dr Saurabh Mahobe said that on June 6, a pregnant woman was referred to a private nursing home in the city in critical condition and sent here.

Operation done in critical condition

When the pregnant woman reached Mahobe hospital, her blood pressure was high. After the sonography report, it was found that the child is just seven months old and the mother is in the last stages of giving birth. After all the investigation, Dr. Saurabh Mahobe and Dr. Surabhi Mahobe performed an emergency operation and got the child born. The child could not cry at the time of birth due to the ill health of the mother. He could not even get blood from the mother’s umbilical cord. She had also got infection due to drinking dirty water in the womb.

The condition of both mother and child is critical

When Dr. Mahobe examined after the operation, it was found that both the kidneys of the newborn child were not working. The lungs of the child were also not developed, nor was he able to maintain his BP. Dr. Mahobe told that the child was having difficulty in breathing. He also had cardiac failure and bone marrow suppression. Amidst so many problems, Dr. Mahobe apprised the family members about all the situations and then after getting their approval, kept the child on ventilator continuously for one and a half months. The health of the child improved with continuous monitoring and giving medicines at regular intervals. On August 27, after examination, when the doctor was convinced that the child was no longer in danger, he was allowed to go home.

His mother Seema Aanchala, who gave birth to the child under adverse circumstances, said that the child’s body parts were not actually functioning at the time of birth. Dr. Saurabh Mahobe gave him a new life by keeping him in ventilator for one and a half month by giving proper advice. The child’s mother and relatives have expressed their gratitude to the doctor.
