Displeasure of the High Court: Fine imposed on the Secretary of School Education Department, instructions to be present in the court on March 23

Sandeep Karihar-Bilaspur. The High Court imposed a fine of Rs 20,000 on the Secretary of the School Education Department and directed him to be present in the court on March 23 at 10:30 am during the next hearing. The case pertains to non-submission of additional information to the Department of Education in 2012 by the Court on time. The High Court has expressed its displeasure over the non-response in the 11-year-old case even after giving one month’s time.

Please tell that a petition has been filed regarding the demand for appointment to the post of Head Master and all the benefits to be received. Continuous hearing is going on on the petition filed by the petitioner in 2012. In this matter, the government was asked to file an additional reply by March 20, but the department did not submit any additional reply till the due date. The DEO appeared in the court on behalf of the secretary, on which the angry judge directed the secretary to deposit Rs 20,000 in the High Court Library Fund as a fine. Also asked to appear in the court in the next hearing.
