Raipur. Dozens of vehicles are parked illegally outside the dhabas and hotels of Raipur, encircling the road. Those running the institute have not made any arrangement for separate parking for the people. Raipur Collector has now issued an order regarding this, action will be taken against those parking their vehicles in illegal parking and the operators of hotels and dhabas. Collector Dr. Sarveshwar Bhure has taken a meeting. In the meeting, he asked to continue the action to remove illegal encroachment and encroachment in urban and rural areas. Instructions have been given to take a strict stance regarding law and order. Instructions have been given to the revenue officers to remove illegal encroachments from the meeting hall.
Asked to keep a constant watch after removing the encroachment
In the meeting, the Collector has also asked to keep a constant eye on the vacant land once the encroachment is removed, so that that place cannot be illegally encroached upon again. The Collector has asked to take strict action against the tasting centers being operated illegally and not to allow them to reopen.
Instructions to take action against legally parked vehicles
The Collector also directed the officers to take action against vehicles parked illegally outside the dhabas and hotels running on the roadsides and highways within the city. The Collector also said that along with the vehicles, action should also be taken against all such dhaba and hotel operators who cause blockage in the traffic system.
In the meeting, the Collector instructed the officers to inform the public representatives of the concerned area about the action to remove illegal encroachment. He also asked to take action against shopkeepers who keep goods outside their shops and sell them on the road. The Collector also directed that such shopkeepers should be warned once and action should be taken to confiscate the goods a second time. Emphasis was laid on the systematic operation of autos and rickshaws running in the city. For these, the Collector also gave instructions in the meeting to ensure space for stands at major intersections and to ensure stops on the roads.
