Raipur. After the completion of voting in five states, various news media and TV news channels have released their respective exit poll figures. According to the data received so far, the ruling Congress party is showing a slight lead over the BJP in Chhattisgarh. In the exit polls of Aaj Tak and Axis My India, BJP has been estimated to get 41 percent votes and Congress 42 percent votes in Chhattisgarh. According to this, BJP is expected to get 36 to 46 seats. Whereas Congress is expected to get 40 to 50 seats. Whereas ABP News and C Voter are predicting that Congress will get 41 to 53 seats and BJP will get 36 to 48 seats in Chhattisgarh.

The results of assembly elections of five states of the country are to be declared on December 3. Chhattisgarh is also included in these electoral states. Voting was held in two phases in Chhattisgarh. Including both the phases, the total voting percentage here was 76.31 percent, which was marginally lower than the previous election i.e. 2018 (76.88). In the first phase, elections were held on 20 seats in Bastar and Rajnandgaon region, while in Phase 2, voting was held on the remaining 70 seats. Before the election results, the stir has intensified between both the ruling Congress and the opposition party BJP. There are 90 assembly seats in Chhattisgarh, out of which Congress claims that it will win 75 seats. At the same time, BJP is also claiming to form the government with sufficient majority.
