Sachin Agrahari/Rajnandgaon- Chaturmas Mahamahotsav is being organized in Sankardahara, Rajnandgaon, Chhattisgarh. The event started on July 18 and will continue till September 28. During this time, sermons, Rudrabhishek and Mahamrityunjaya Rudra Mahayagya are being performed in the presence of Jagatguru Shankaracharya Swami Atmanand Saraswati Ji Maharaj. On the occasion of conclusion of Chaturmas, a huge National Saint Conference and Farmers Meet will be organized on 30th September. Saints from all over the country will reach Sankardahra in this conference. Apart from this, state chief Bhupesh Baghel will also participate in this program.
Actually, Jagatguru Shankaracharya Swami Atmanand Saraswati Ji Maharaj told that last year Chaturmas was celebrated in Balod. During this, State Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel requested that Chaturmas program should be organized again in Chhattisgarh. Due to the faith, devotion and cooperation of the area residents, Chaturmas was organized once again. For the arrangement of this huge event, Chaturmas has been organized in Sankardahra with the help of Nawaz Khan, Administrator of District Cooperative Central Bank, Rajnandgaon.
Spirituality and politics complement each other
Jagatguru Shankaracharya Swami Atmanand Saraswati Ji Maharaj said that politics is not possible without spirituality and spirituality is not possible without politics. Even in ancient times, all the kings had royal gurus. A saint should not do politics but should try to have complete control in politics. So that the ruler does not go astray. It is also said in the scriptures that a saint should guide the politician.
There is no demand for Hindu nation
Shankaracharya Swami Atmanand said that our opinion regarding Hindu and Hindutva is clear. We do not want a nation of any particular religion. We want a strong, developed, prosperous and sovereign India. Where there is happiness in people’s lives, employment, the country should be prosperous and powerful.
