Regarding the purchase of paddy, BJP leader OP Chaudhary said that the state government has told the biggest lie regarding the purchase of paddy. The proof of this will be understood from the state budget, if the government buys paddy according to its plan, then it will have to arrange money. The total budget of the supply department is Rs 5158 crore. In such a situation, from where will 21 thousand 828 crore rupees come to buy paddy? The Chief Minister bought paddy but has opened a shop of lies. Prime Minister Modi has increased the quota of central pool rice so much that 20 quintals of paddy per acre has been purchased from the farmers of Chhattisgarh. While the truth is that the central government has increased the quota to buy the entire paddy of the farmers of Chhattisgarh.

When the CM wrote a letter to the PM regarding the outstanding amount of the state, BJP leader OP Chaudhary said that he himself is accepting that the Government of India and its agency Food Corporation of India compensate the amount for the purchase of paddy. Talking about the year 2022-23, Chhattisgarh has given 58.65 lakh metric tonnes of rice to the Center for the Central Pool. If we look at it in terms of paddy, the state has procured about 90 lakh metric tonnes of paddy.
