Gaurav Sharma-Raipur. Just before the assembly elections in Chhattisgarh, Congress has got a big success in Arang assembly constituency. Bhandarpuri’s Guru Dwarika Das and Bhavendra Guru have joined the Congress party today.
It is noteworthy that recently Bharatiya Janata Party has included religious leader Baldas of Satnami community in the party. Not only this, BJP has also given ticket to Guru Khashwant Saheb, son of religious leader Baldas, from Arang. On the other hand, Guru Dwarika Das and Bhavendra Guru, who have entered Congress today, are said to be nephews of Baldas. Both of them were given Congress entry in front of Minister Shiv Dahria and PCC Chief Deepak Baij this morning at Rajiv Bhawan, the state Congress headquarters. Along with him, a large number of workers also joined the Congress party. At the time of Congress entry, Guru Dwarika Das has also appealed to make Minister Shiv Dahria win from Arang region in the elections.
Gitanjali Patel also joins Congress
Today the Congress Party has got a huge success. Gitanjali Patel, leader of Chandrapur region from Jogi Congress, has joined Congress. PCC Chief Deepak Baij and Deputy CM TS Singhdev ushered him into Congress. It is noteworthy that Geetanjali Patel was the candidate of JCCJ-BSP alliance from Chandrapur constituency in 2018. Gitanjali Patel was at second position from Chandrapur.
