Dongargarh-Khairagarh. Top leaders of both the parties are on tour in Chhattisgarh regarding the upcoming elections. BJP’s star campaigner and party’s national president JP Nadda reached Dongargarh and Khairagarh on Sunday in support of BJP candidates and addressed a public meeting. In his address, he said that, when I talk about Chhattisgarh, it is the land of our Gods and Goddesses as well as it is also a rice bowl, today Chhattisgarh has a special place in the field of energy and at the same time it is the Mother Goddess. It is the sacred birthplace of Kausilya. Taking aim at the Congress, Shri Nadda further said that the Congress Party has never thought about the public, the Congress Party has always thought about itself and its family. Congress cannot count even a single stone of development here today.
Chhattisgarh was given by Atal ji
Referring to former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, he said that Chhattisgarh was given the identity of Chhattisgarh by Atal Bihari Vajpayee. Congress ruled here but never cared about Chhattisgarh, then Atal Bihari Vajpayee made you Chhattisgarh. Chhattisgarh has been under eclipse for the last five years, now the opportunity has come to remove this eclipse. This government today is immersed in corruption…it is a deceitful government. Shri Nadda further said that, we do what we say and what we do not say, we also do it. This is the government of Bharatiya Janata Party and we give account of every penny and commit ourselves to serve the public. Let’s dedicate.
Targeted at state government regarding housing scheme
BJP National President JP Nadda further said that the difference between the Congress and BJP governments is that PM Modi started the scheme to build four crore houses for the people under the Prime Minister’s House and built three and a half crore houses. PM Modi had sanctioned 14 lakh 84 thousand houses in Chhattisgarh but the Congress government did not allow construction of more than 12 lakh houses. BJP has given about 35 lakh Ujjwala gas connections and under Jal Jeevan Yojana, water has been arranged at home for 23 lakh sisters and 34 lakh 55 thousand toilets have been built and given to the people. Modi government has lifted 3.5 crore people above the poverty line.
Fairlist of alleged scams counted
Targeting CM Bhupesh Baghel and Congress, Shri Nadda said that they had promised prohibition of liquor, but here today liquor is available online and is reaching every home… This deceitful government says one thing and does another. They have not done any work in five years. This is a government of scams. Referring to the alleged scams, he said, liquor scam, rice scam, coal scam, Gauthan scam, DMF scam, transfer and posting of teachers. Scam in buying sarees of Anganwadi workers, sand scam, cow dung scam, this government has not left any area and Congress has made Chhattisgarh a market of scams and speculation. This time the Bhupesh government of Congress has to be overthrown.
Only scams took place in the name of schemes
BJP National President Jagat Prakash Nadda came to Khairagarh to campaign in support of BJP candidate Vikrant Singh and while targeting the Bhupesh Baghel government and Congress of the state, he said that the state government has only done the work of creating scams in the name of every scheme. Be it a rice scam worth Rs 5,000 crore, a coal scam worth Rs 540 crore or a scam in the purchase of sarees for Anganwadi workers. Shri Nadda further said that sometimes only scams have taken place in the name of Gothan and sometimes in the name of other schemes. The entire Chhattisgarh including Khairagarh has been deceived in the name of development, today there are potholes in the roads and most of the development works are blocked. The Chief Minister’s secretary has been in jail for a year, you have to overthrow such a government.
