Sanjay Yadav/Kawardha- After voting for the assembly elections in Chhattisgarh, the process of expelling those working against the candidates in the Congress party has started. But in some districts, under this guise, factionalism is gaining momentum. One such example has been seen in Kawardha district.

Actually what happened was that, on Tuesday, the District Congress Committee issued an order to expel ten workers including State Vice President of Youth Congress Tukaram Chandravanshi from the party for 6 years. But the very next day i.e. on Wednesday the matter of expelling the leaders gained momentum. State Congress Committee has sought clarification from District President Horiram Sahu on this issue. An order has been issued to immediately cancel the expulsion of all the workers.

Action taken without the knowledge of PCC

Not only this, the State Congress Committee has sought a reply from the District President regarding the reasons for expulsion within 24 hours. A day earlier, ten workers including State Vice President of Youth Congress Tukaram Chandravanshi were expelled for 6 years. The order was issued without informing State Congress Committee President Deepak Baij.
