Raipur. There is an uproar in the Congress after the defeat in the assembly elections in Chhattisgarh. Meanwhile, many former Congress MLAs have left for Delhi today. He will meet the high command there and inform him about the irregularities going on in the state Congress. According to the information received, former MLAs Vinay Jaiswal, Vinod Chandrakar, Chandradev Rai, Shishupal Sori, Chunnilal Sahu have left for Delhi. In the morning Brihaspat Singh and Motilal Dewangan have also gone to Delhi. Expelled former MLA Vinay Jaiswal has once again spoken beyond the party line before going to Delhi. He has said that the issue of CM for two and a half years not only spoiled the career of the MLAs but also swallowed the entire state government. Mr. Jaiswal said that TS Singhdev kept speaking against the government for 5 consecutive years. Repeatedly kept harping on the issue of two and a half years, yet no action was taken. We will meet the Congress high command in Delhi and present our views.

It is noteworthy that after the defeat in the assembly elections in Chhattisgarh, the phase of action along with rhetoric is continuing in the Congress. Taking responsibility for the defeat in his constituency on Thursday, Mahant Ramsundar Das resigned from the primary membership of Congress. Here, former MLAs Brihaspat Singh and Vinay Jaiswal, who made statements against party leaders, have been expelled from the party for 6 years. Also, a show cause notice has been issued to former minister Jaisingh Aggarwal due to anti-party activities and statements against the former government head. A reply has been sought from him within three days. It is noteworthy that notice was issued to former MLA Brihaspat Singh regarding his statement against state Congress in-charge Kumari Selja and TS Singhdev. In response, he not only accused state in-charge Kumari Selja, but also held TS Singhdev responsible for the defeat. In a letter written to Congress President Deepak Baij, Brihaspat Singh responded saying, the party has suffered loss due to TS Singhdev’s four-page letter and resignation. He was continuously giving statements against the party and the government. Kumari Selja did not inform the high command about this, hence the party has to face loss. Let us tell you that in the past also he had blamed both the leaders for the Congress’s defeat, after which a show cause notice was issued to him by the State Congress Committee. The Congress party may have advised its leaders not to make public statements and comment on big leaders, but this advice does not seem to have any impact on former MLA and Surguja leader Brihaspat Singh. The party has shown him the way out.

The party took the allegations against the in-charge secretary seriously.

Former Congress MLA Dr. Vinay Jaiswal has made serious allegations against a co-in-charge. He claims to have given him Rs 7 lakh. He said, he gave Rs 4 lakh in Circuit House and Rs 3 lakh in a private hotel. After this allegation, the party issued a notice seeking answers. Not being satisfied with his reply, the Party Disciplinary Committee also sent a recommendation to remove him from the party. PCC issued its orders. This seat was defeated by a margin. Taking moral responsibility for this, I am resigning from the primary membership of the party.
