Sharp reaction on the murder of BJP leader Ratan Dubey
Raipur. Incidents of murder of BJP leaders are continuing in Naxal areas in Chhattisgarh. BJP leader Ratan Dubey was brutally murdered in Narayanpur on Saturday. Ratan Dubey had gone to campaign for the assembly elections and was giving a speech from the stage in Dhaudai village of the area. Meanwhile, Naxalites attacked him with an axe, and he lost his life on the spot. Chhattisgarh in-charge Om Mathur has targeted the government over the murder of a BJP leader.
Expressing his condolences through social media, BJP State President Arun Sao said, “Another BJP soldier had to be sacrificed in the ongoing political killings under the protection of the throne. Narayanpur Executive President, District Panchayat Member Mr. Ratan Dubey ji has been murdered in a cowardly manner. I condemn this incident and pray to God for peace of his soul, Om Shanti.”
BJP leader Birju Taram was murdered in Manpur-Mohla last month.
Recently, on October 20, BJP leader Birju Taram (56) was murdered in Manpur-Mohla district. Unknown people had fled after committing the incident. After this, Naxalites issued pamphlets saying that BJP gave death sentence to RSS leader Birju Taram. Threatened that those who come asking for votes will get punishment like Birju Taram.
Former minister Ajay Chandrakar had expressed fear of murder
Former minister Ajay Chandrakar had expressed the fear of murder of BJP leaders during the elections. He had said that there will be more murders of BJP leaders till the elections. Before this, many party leaders have been murdered in Bastar. Meanwhile, BJP media department’s central convenor Siddharthnath Singh had accused Congress of colluding with Naxalites.
Till now these BJP leaders have been murdered in the state
1. Dantewada MLA Bhima Mandavi was murdered by Naxalites during the Lok Sabha elections in 2019.
2. BJP District Minister Budhram Kartam was murdered in Bastar on 16 January.
3. On February 5, Bijapur BJP Mandal President Neelkanth Kakkem was killed.
4. On February 10, Narayanpur BJP vice president Sagar Sahu was murdered.
5. On February 11, BJP leader Ramdhar Alami was murdered on the border of Dantewada-Narayanpur district.
6. Ramji Dodi was murdered in a village of Narayanpur on the night of 28 March.
Chhattisgarh BJP has called the murder of these leaders as target killing. BJP leader Birju Taram (56) was murdered on October 20 in Manpur Mohalla district. Unknown people had fled after committing the incident. A few days later, Naxalites issued a pamphlet and took responsibility for the murder. It was written in the pamphlet that BJP has given death sentence to RSS leader Birju Taram and will give punishment like Birju Taram to those who come asking for votes.
