According to the information received, Councilor Gagan Aich had gone to RK Nagar, the residence of Municipal Corporation Commissioner Ashutosh Chaturvedi. The matter between the two escalated so much that it led to a scuffle, after which they informed their senior BJP officials about the matter. Regarding the matter, a large number of BJP leaders led by former MP Abhishek Singh reached Basantpur police station and started demanding FIR.
