Kush Aggarwal/Palari- Police have arrested a vicious thief from Palari, Chhattisgarh. Gold and silver worth Rs 82,000 and cash worth Rs 33,000 have been recovered from the accused. Police have arrested the accused Lalit Tiwari on charges of theft and sent him on judicial remand.
Police said that the accused had come to village Sahra from Raipur with his entire family at 5 o’clock in the evening of Diwali. On the same day, after performing Lakshmi Puja, the jewelery and a bundle of money kept in the plate went missing. Jewelery worth Rs 82,000 and cash worth Rs 33,000 kept in the box were taken away.
