Sanjay Yadav-Kawardha. The unseasonal rains in Kawardha district of Chhattisgarh for the last two days have not only affected life but have also increased the concern of farmers. During the conversation, the Agriculture Department is saying that this rain is good for Rabi crops of gram and wheat, but it is being said that it is likely to cause huge loss to Pigeon pea. Besides, pest infestation can also increase on vegetable crops. Let us tell you that sugarcane and paddy are grown in large quantities in the district.
