There was panic in Bijrabhauna village adjacent to the Pali forest area in Korba district of Chhattisgarh when information was received about the movement of crocodile in the nearby forest. The crocodile had strayed from Khuntaghat Reservoir and reached the forest. Devcharan Uike, who went to see the fields, informed the forest department team. As soon as the information was received, the forest department team reached the spot, rescued the crocodile and released it back into the Khuntaghat Kharang reservoir.
Actually, crocodile is found in large numbers in Khuntaghat Dam of Bilaspur district. The dam is connected to Pali Tanakhar of Katghora forest division. In such a situation, crocodiles from the dam often keep coming and going to the nearby ponds. lso afternoon, Bajrang Porte, resident of village Katelipar, had gone towards the forest with his friends. During this time suddenly Bajrang saw a crocodile. He informed this to his colleagues. The scared crocodile started running here and there. Seeing the possibility of damage to crops due to entry into the fields, the villagers informed the forest department.

The team of forest workers reached the spot and started rescuing the crocodile with the help of the villagers. On receiving information about this, a crowd of villagers gathered to see the crocodile. Since the crocodile was an adult, the forest department team had to put in a lot of effort to control it. First of all he was trapped with the help of a rope. After this, his mouth was pressed and tied securely with the help of a long bamboo.
