Raipur. The court has pasted a notice at the house of Congress leader Asif Memon, who is absconding in a fraud case from Raipur, the capital of Chhattisgarh. Through the notice, Mr. Memon has been asked to appear in the court.
It is noteworthy that even before this, a notice was pasted in the court premises asking Asif Memon and father Mohammad Akbar to appear. Memon is said to be absconding in a fraud case for the last two years. A case of fraud has been registered against Asif Memon in the Civil Lines police station. It is being said that till now the police were holding back from laying hands on Memon due to his association with the Congress Party.
