CG News: Center accepted CM Sai’s request in a single day, agreed to buy 15 lakh metric tons of parboiled rice.

Raipur. The Government of India has given major approval on the request of Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai. Consent has been given to purchase 15 lakh metric tonnes of parboiled rice in the central pool. It is noteworthy that Chief Minister Shri Sai had today written a letter to Union Food Minister Piyush Goyal requesting him to take uncooked rice in the interest of the state. In response to this letter, the Government of India has expressed its consent by sending a letter to the Government of Chhattisgarh today itself. On getting the consent, Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai said that the effect of the double engine government is beginning to be seen. The pending demand has been completed within a single day. The Chief Minister has sent thanks on behalf of the state to the Prime Minister and the Union Minister.
