Directorate of Urban Administration and Development has released the list of many bodies of Raipur, Surguja and Bastar divisions, in which it is clearly visible that a large number of bodies have not paid the subsidy. Now the civic bodies have been asked to issue a proforma and give details regarding gratuity payment. In this, information has been sought about the employee’s name, retirement, date of death, total amount payable, amount paid till date, pending amount, probable date of full payment.

Directorate of Urban Administration and Development has issued a letter to Joint Director Regional Office Urban Administration and Development Raipur, Surguja and Bastar. Citing old letters, it has been said in the letter that the information sought has not been given yet. Give this information within seven days. In fact, by sending a letter to the urban bodies on 26 May 2023, instructions were given to give gratuity to the retired employees of the bodies.

The Directorate of Urban Administration and Development had said in a letter sent to the Joint Director Regional Offices on May 26 that many bodies were not paying gratuity to the employees. These include those who became regular daily wage earners and who are being marked as non-NPS and are being given pension from the Directorate. Or to be given. In the same letter, the Directorate had asked the Regional Joint Directors to provide information regarding the status of gratuity payment from their subordinate urban bodies as per the instructions of the government.
