Raipur. The first cabinet meeting of the new BJP government in Chhattisgarh was held in Mantralaya today. CM Vishnudev Sai himself appeared before the media to give information about the decisions taken in the meeting. He said that the Cabinet has approved the decision to build 18 lakh houses. He also said that as per its announcement, the government will pay the outstanding bonus of two years to the farmers on December 25. Coming in front of the media after the cabinet meeting, Shri Sai first expressed his gratitude to the people of the state.
He said that the people of the state have expressed great faith in BJP. We have got more seats than expected. After this he told that, PM Awas Yojana has been approved. 18 lakh houses will be built in the state. People will be able to get housing in the coming time. He also said that the Congress government has left Chhattisgarh economically hollow. But we will fulfill all the guarantees of Modi in five years. Shri Sai said that the double engine government will run rapidly in the state. One promise made by BJP in the manifesto has been fulfilled. On zero tolerance, CM said – Government will not tolerate any corruption. He said that the useless schemes of Congress will be reviewed.
