Ravikant Singh Rajput-Manendragarh. Union Minister of State Renuka Singh, who was made the BJP candidate from Bharatpur-Sonhat assembly constituency of Chhattisgarh, has once again cornered the current Congress MLA Gulab Kamro.
This time Renuka Singh has accused the MLA’s wife and sister of ignoring the rules in taking government honorarium. He has accused the MLA’s wife of taking government honorarium and his sister of taking double honorarium from the government. Renuka Singh has said that Congress MLA Gulab Kamro has not only developed Bharatpur Sonhat assembly constituency but himself and his family in 5 years. The MLA’s wealth has increased 36 times in 5 years, while his wife, who is also a businessman herself, is taking Mitanin’s honorarium. Sister, who is a District Panchayat member, is also taking money from the government for the post of District Panchayat member as well as development block coordinator in the health department. On November 17, the people of Bharatpur Sonhat assembly constituency will go to the polling stations to teach a lesson to such MLA.
Information about wife being a terrorist was not given in the affidavit.
It is noteworthy that the case of Lilavati, wife of MLA Gulab Kamro, getting government honorarium has also come to light. Apart from the MLA’s wife, sister Usha Singh Kariyam is taking double honorarium from the government. One is taking the honorarium of a District Panchayat member and the other is taking the honorarium of a Block Coordinator in the Health Department. At the same time, the MLA’s wife, besides being a businesswoman, is taking honorarium from the government for being a Mitanin. In the affidavit given by MLA Gulab Kamro to the Election Commission along with the nomination form, information about his wife being a terrorist has not been given. According to the affidavit, the MLA has described his wife as a businesswoman.
Two government honorarium?
MLA Gulab Kamro’s wife is the owner of M/s Pooja Agri and Allied and is also filing ITR. In such a situation, the question arises that despite being the owner of a firm, the MLA’s wife is also taking honorarium from the government for the post of Mitanin. Meanwhile, MLA’s sister Usha Singh Kariyam, who is a District Panchayat member, is also getting double honorarium from the government. One honorarium is for being a District Panchayat member and the other honorarium is for being the development block coordinator in the Mitanin programme.
