CG Election: Demand for local candidate started rising here too, many tribal leaders united…said – if the candidate is not changed, independents will contest.

Akash Singh Pawar/Pendra- These days, politics is getting heated in the Pendra-Marwahi assembly constituency of Chhattisgarh and the possibility of a split in the Congress party has started. Even though Marwahi seat has been a stronghold of Congress and the Congress party has once again given ticket to the current MLA Dr. KK Dhruv. But now the issue of local versus outsider seems to be heating up in the Congress party itself.

Let us tell you that apart from the local person, a gathering of angry Congress leaders has started due to Marwahi MLA Dr KK Dhruv getting the ticket. Which is proving to be a big challenge for the Congress Party and candidate Dr. KK Dhruv. Angered by not getting the ticket to the local person, the tribal leaders started making strategies by holding a meeting in Devi Chaura of Bagdi village and still there is a demand to change the ticket of Congress candidate Dr KK Dhruv and give the ticket to a local person.

Demand not fulfilled…

If their demands are not met, then they have said that a major decision will be taken soon and local independent candidates will be fielded on behalf of the tribal community. Now it remains to be seen whether the Congress Party and Dr KK Dhruv are successful in convincing these rebel tribal leaders of the Congress Party from Marwahi Assembly Constituency or whether there is a split in the Congress Party…
